As June draws to a close, community happenings in the Carson City area stay consistent this weekend.
Here's what's happening this weekend.
The Carson City Comedy Club presents Lisa Alvarado on Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26 at their location in the Carson Nugget at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and attendees must be 21+ to enter. More information can be found on the Facebook event page here.
On Friday, “Cars” will be screened at Mills Park at 8:30 p.m. to continue the fourth annual Family Movie Night series, presented by the Carson City Classic Cinema Club. The event is free of charge. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to spread out. Food trucks have been invited to each movie night, but their presence isn't guaranteed.

The Carson City Farmer’s Market returns for another Saturday at its temporary location east of the Carson Nugget in the parking lot at 412 N. Stewart Street from 8:30 a.m to 1 p.m. More information can be found here.
Join the Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department on Saturday for a bike tour along the Carson River. The event will start at the Morgan Mill River Access parking lot at 11 a.m. and will loop back around to the parking lot by 1 p.m. Go to the Facebook event page here for more information.
The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada is hosting Lego Day on Saturday, June 26 beginning at 10 a.m. The Museum has created COVID-19 safe "packs" of random Legos for children to play with, as well as allowing children to bring their own Legos. The Brewery Arts Center will present the Sagebrush Rebels band as a part of their Flatbed Concert Series on Saturday, June 26 at noon. The event is free of charge as the band will be driving a route around town during their performance. Go here for a map of the route and stops.

The Bank Saloon is presenting live music with Brian Lester this Friday on their outdoor patio from 6:30-9:30 p.m. as well as the band Prime Time on Saturday from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Both events are free of charge.
Bella Vita Bistro is presenting performer Doug is L this Friday, June 25 at 5 p.m. The artist will be playing a mix of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and more live from their location in the Carson Mall. Weekly performances can be found on their Facebook page here.
Living the Good Life Nightclub, Bistro, and Lounge will present the Trippin’ King Snakes on their outdoor stage for a night of live music on Friday from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, June 26 will feature musician Greg Austin outside from 7-11 p.m. Text for reservations before 5 p.m. at 775-720-5834 and call after 5 p.m. at 775-841-4663.
