Blinky Man hits the Capital City roads Friday for Summer Solstice Ride
It's that time of year again. The time of year when the evenings are warm, the streets are clear, and Blinky Man riders deck out their bicycles, unicycles, tricycles and any other type of cycles they can think of for the twice-a-year Blinky Man ride.
Blinky Man is a Carson City tradition, combining a love of costumes, lights, bikes and community into one mass form of wheeled entertainment.
Friday, on the summer solstice, Blinky Man rides again beginning at 6:30 p.m. and will continue throughout the night. The tour starts as always at the Tap Shack, located at 112 Rice Street. Throughout the night, riders will cruise through Carson, stopping at local participating eateries and bars in a flash mob of entertainment.
All are welcome, but due to the nature of the event, only those 21 and up are asked to participate.
