Five Days Left to Purchase a 2011-12 Squaw Valley Discount Season Pass

PRESS RELEASE — Squaw Valley USA starts the five day countdown to the resort’s June 15 season pass deadline. Following the June 15 deadline, most season pass prices are slated to increase so skiers and riders are encouraged to buy now to get the best season pass deal in Lake Tahoe. Starting at $399 for adults and $99 for kids, Squaw Valley 2011-12 season passes are on sale now at squaw.com.

In addition to a host of other benefits, all 2011-12 season passholders will be able to ski and ride 4th of July weekend for free at Squaw Valley USA. With a record-shattering 800 inches of snowfall since October 2010 and a current 145 inch base, Squaw Valley is hosting the ultimate 4th of July weekend including expansive skiing and riding, fireworks display, Big Head Todd and the Monsters concert, pool parties, a Village art festival and the legendary Lake Cushing Crossing pond skimming contest.

The following is the adult pricing for 2011-12 season passes. Lowest pricing is only guaranteed through June 15, 2011.

GOLD - $699
Squaw Valley’s unlimited Gold Pass is now available at the lowest rate ever with a $250 savings from last season. For $699, skiers and riders can take full advantage of Squaw Valley’s legendary terrain every day of the 2011-12 winter season.

SILVER - $499
Squaw Valley’s Silver Pass is the most ‘bang for your buck’ with limited blackout dates. Ideal for those looking to ski weekends. Pass not valid during select holiday dates.*

BRONZE - $399
Squaw Valley’s most inexpensive pass is ideal for those who can navigate a more restricted pass. Pass not valid during select holiday dates and Saturdays in January and February**

COLLEGE - $379
The College Pass is back and better than ever. Now valid every weekend of the 2011-12 winter season, with the exception of select holiday dates. The College Pass is available to all full-time college students at accredited colleges and universities.***

Purchasing Online
Squaw season passes can be purchased online at www.squaw.com. By logging into the One Store, purchasers can fill-out all necessary forms and payment information online. Passes will be sent by mail or can be picked up on-site.

Purchasing By Mail
Purchasers may fill out the season pass form, include method of payment and return to us by mail according to instructions on the form. Pass forms must be postmarked by June 15, 2011 to ensure discounted rate.

Purchasing in at Squaw Valley USA
Squaw season passes pass can be purchased in person by visiting the Squaw Valley Special Tickets Office. This must be done by end of the business day on June 15, 2011 to guarantee this low price.

Early season rates are only guaranteed through June 15, 2011 at midnight (for online purchases) or at the end of the business day in the Special Tickets Office (4:30 p.m.). After that time, the 2011-12 pass prices are subject to increase.
