Carson High School Graduates honored with motorcade graduation
Today, Carson High School's 2020 Graduates were honored by the school, their families and their community with a social-distance graduation, in which graduates were escorted to the stage by motorcade, many of the cars decorated for each graduate.
More than 467 seniors were able to turn their tassels across the stage according to Carson City School District's Dan Davis.
"The drive-through procession allowed each graduate to walk across the stage, obtain their diploma and snap photos with their family in an unforgettable fashion," said Davis.
Students were separated alphabetically and escorted by family members and friends at their designated times.
There is a Downtown Graduate Parade planned for this evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. down Carson Street, with all graduates invited to attend.
