Reno home searched after warrants issued for former Lake Tahoe Brewing Company owner
On Tuesday Carson City Sheriff’s Office detectives and the Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team executed search warrants in the 8000 block of Willow Ranch Trail and in the 2000 block of East 9th Street in Reno.
Reno Police Department and FBI/DEA Safe Streets Task Force also assisted during the search warrant.
The search warrants were a result of an ongoing theft and obtaining money under false pretenses investigation that detectives are continuing to work. Detectives are also asking for the public’s assistance in locating the primary subject involved in the investigation who has two outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Carson City detectives are looking for former Lake Tahoe Brewery Company owner Michael Candelario who is wanted on a felony contempt of court warrant and misdemeanor violation of pre-trial supervision warrant. Both warrants were issued by Carson City Justice Court.
In January, Lake Tahoe Brewing Company, located at the corner of South Carson and West Proctor streets, closed its doors. In February Candelario was arrested on a charge of felony theft, accused of stealing $45,000 worth of equipment from a Canadian brewery.
Anyone with information can contact Detective Sam Hatley 775-283-7852 or Lt. Brian Humphrey 775-283-7850, Caron City Sheriff’s Office.
