Carson City authorities make handful of warrant arrests
Carson City sheriff's officers made a handful of misdemeanor-related arrests Tuesday, mostly warrants for condition violations and failure to appear in court.
A 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested May 7, 4:45 p.m. in the 3000 block of Sherman Lane. He faces a misdemeanor charge of being in violation of bail conditions. According to the arrest report officers responded to the area because of reports that an intoxicated man was yelling in the street.
Officers made contact with the man who was on Alternative Sentencing with a no-alcohol clause. A preliminary breath test indicated a .106. Bail: $3,000.
— A 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested May 7, 9:31 a.m. in the 100 block of Conestoga Drive on a failure to appear traffic warrant. Bail: $172.
— A 59-year-old Carson City woman was arrested May 7, 9:08 a.m. in the 300 block of North Walsh on a failure to appear traffic warrant. Bail: $212.
— A 52-year-old Carson City woman was arrested May 7, 12:15 p.m. in the 400 block of North Pratt for being in violation of a suspended sentence, failure to provide proof of petit larceny diversion class. Bail: $1,000.
— A 65 year-old transient was arrested in the 500 block of Wright Way on a contempt of court traffic-related warrant out of Reno Township Justice Court. Bail: $525.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
