Brews, Brats and Ballet celebrated Saturday at Brewery Arts Center
Sierra Nevada Ballet will present its annual spring concert, Brew, Brats and Ballet in Carson City on May 17, 2014, 7:30 p.m. at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King Street.
This eclectic event invites the audience to enjoy sausages, salads and a beverage while sampling a wide variety of innovative and exciting short new Sierra Nevada Ballet choreographic offerings ranging from classical ballet to more contemporary work.
Audience members will have the opportunity to enjoy a catered dinner provided by Lifted Cafe while discussing the intimate experience of creating a dance work with the individual choreographers and then viewing their work in performance on stage. All ages are welcome to join SNB choreographers and professional dancers for this fun-filled presentation at the Brewery Arts Center.
Featured pieces include excerpts from the new SNB production of the classical ballet Swan Lake, a brand new contemporary work from East Coast choreographer, Chloe Felseina, from Ballet X and more.
Tickets are $25 for reserved floor seating including food and first beverage, $20 for general seating which includes food and first beverage and $15 for performance only.
