Carson City sheriff's investigators asks for public's help in identifying suspects in break-ins
Carson City Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating two separate burglaries at local businesses within the past two days and are asking for the public's help in providing any information on the suspects caught on video surveillance.
The first burglary happened Monday, April 18, shortly after midnight at a business located within the Bank of America building, 600 E. William Street.
Two suspects, seen in the color photos, forced their way into the business while wearing construction type reflective vests over their clothing. The suspects appear to be African American males, one is heavy set and the other is average build. Additional suspects may have been involved other than the two seen on the video surveillance, said Carson City Sheriff's Office Lt. Brian Humphrey.
The second burglary happened Tuesday, April 19 between the hours of midnight and 4 a.m. at the Subway located at 100 E. Winnie Lane. At least three white male suspects were seen on video surveillance after forcing their way into the business. In one photo it appears one of the suspects may have been in possession of a gun during the burglary.
Anyone with information concerning either burglary can contact Detective Dave Legros at 775-283-7853 or Lieutenant Brian Humphrey at 775-283-7850.
