Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of April 6 to April 12, 2020, and includes the South Carson Street Project.
5th Street to Stewart: SNC will be performing waterline work; one lane in each direction will be open, the cone zone will remain in place around-the-clock.
Stewart to Fairview: SNC will be performing storm drain work; one lane in each direction will be open, the cone zone will remain in place around-the-clock.
Rhodes to Clearview: SNC will be performing multi-use path work; one lane in each direction with a center turn lane, the cone zone will remain in place around-the-clock.
Frontage Road is reduced to one lane leaving a one way lane open, northbound traffic commuters will be directed to enter Frontage Road at the north end, near the Best Value Inn, this detour will be signed for both Carson Street southbound and northbound traffic. Please follow the detour signage. The cone zone will remain in place around-the-clock.

The Carson City Public Works Department will be working on the following streets this week. Closures and delays are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
Temporary single-block and intersection closures on Washington Street between Mountain Street and Ormsby Boulevard are possible all week. Intersections may include the following:
— Bulette Drive at Washington Street
— Bunker Hill Drive at Washington Street
— Elizabeth Street at Washington Street
— Phillips Street at Washington Street
— Richmond Avenue at Washington Street
— Sunset Way at Washington Street
Rifle Range Road remains closed at the gate until further notice.
Roop Street will be closed in the southbound direction between Fairview Drive and Industrial Park Drive, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Elsewhere, lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— 5th Street will have reduced and shifted lanes in both directions between Stewart Street and Saliman Road, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
— Fairview Drive will have reduced and shifted lanes in both directions between S. Carson Street and Kansas Street, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Ormsby Boulevard may have periodic flagger controlled lane restrictions between Comstock Circle and Newman Place, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Possible 10 minute delays.
— Roop Street will have single lane closures and narrowed lanes between Mallory Way and Industrial Park Drive, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Saliman Road will have single lane restrictions in both directions between Depot Drive and Como Street, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
— Washington Street may have reduced and narrowed lanes between Ormsby Boulevard and Division Street, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
