Lyon County Sheriff: Trio booked in multi-state, stolen property investigation; $200K in property recovered
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division served a search warrant at a Fernley residence Wednesday as part of an on-going investigation into the possession of stolen property.
During the search at the residence in the 500 block of Stone Creek Court, detectives recovered more than $200,000 of stolen property. The property had been reported stolen from multiple areas including: Washoe County, Henderson, Nev., Truckee, Calif., Scottsdale, Ariz., and Cedar City Utah. The stolen property included numerous items of sports memorabilia, collectible cards, artwork and jewelry.
As a result of the evidence collected during this operation the following individuals were arrested:
Fernley resident Alexandra Curran, 29, was arrested and charged with:
— NRS 205.275 Possession of stolen property over $100,000
— NRS 205.465 Possession of personal identifying information of others
— NRS 453.336 Possession of more than 14 grams of methamphetamine
— NRS 453.566 Possession of drug paraphernalia
Total Bail: $96,140.00
Reno resident Dixie Vreeken, 39, was arrested and charged with:
— NRS 453.336 Possession of less than 14 grams of methamphetamine
— NRS 453.566 Possession of drug paraphernalia
Total Bail: $3,640
Fernley resident Evan Parker, 37, who was already in custody in the Lyon County Jail on un-related charges, was booked and charged with:
— NRS 205.275 Possession of stolen property over $100,000
— NRS 205.465 Possession of personal identifying information of others
— NRS 202.360 Ex-felon in possession of a firearm
— NRS 205.080 Possession of burglary tools
Total Bail: $97,500.00
