Lyon County investigators continue investigation into disappearance of Alea Clark
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation into the disappearance of Alea Clark who was reportedly last seen in the Dayton area on Jan. 6, 2015.
Pursuant to this investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on Wednesday, Jan. 14 on a Dayton home in the 200 block of Grosh Avenue. Her current residence is in California but she had been in the Dayton and Silver Springs area visiting family and friends when she disappeared.
In addition to the LCSO detective division, the following entities have been providing valuable time and resources to this ongoing investigation:

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Investigation Section
K-9 handler from the Wilderness Finders Search Dog Team (LCSO SAR)
K-9 handler from the California Office of Emergency Services
Lyon County Public Works
It is not normal for Alea Clark to remain out of contact with family and friends for this length of time; therefore they are extremely concerned about her welfare.
