Lyon County Manager urges Dayton residents to stay off the roads
UPDATE 6:05PM: All schools in the Lyon County School District will be closed Monday, according to the district's Facebook page.

Due to the continuing heavy rains and local flooding, Lyon County Manager Jeff Page is asking for Dayton residents to stay home as much possible and off the roads. There are a number of current road closures throughout the area, and the weather conditions are expected to get worse throughout Sunday night.
According to Page, "Currently we are looking at 24 to 72 hours to get the Dayton roads cleaned up and restored."
In the above photos submitted by Carson Now reader Brandon, who did not provide a last name, he writes: Flooding through Valley Circle in Dayton. Caused by the hills behind the whole right side of the street over flowing. At least 6 of my neighbors have water flowing through their house. One has over 12 inches and it sounds like a river rushing.
