Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Honey
If you are looking for a cat to warm your heart and home this winter and for years to come, hurry on over to Catmandu this weekend and meet Honey. We will be open normal hours on Saturday, Nevada Day.
Catmandu’s cat of the week is a healthy and friendly, mature short-haired female named Honey. She is as sweet as her name implies. At 10-years old, she is calm and loving with many good years ahead of her. Along with adoption, Honey is also eligible for the senior-to-senior foster program. Available to people 55+, this program has many benefits including medical care for the life of the cat through All Creatures Veterinary Services. For more information on this program please visit our website at: catmanducc.org.
A sweet tabby and white spayed female, Honey is affectionate, friendly and still playful. She gets along fine with other friendly cats, and can live amicably with a cat-friendly dog. She likes both men and women and prefers a quiet home. She would not do well in a busy, active household with children.
Honey is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Illness of her original owner, followed by the relocation of her second owner left her homeless and alone at Catmandu. She’s a little scared and confused by all the changes and tends to hide a bit here at the ‘Du’. In a home of her own, she should quickly return to being her normal loving and affectionate self. All she wants is a warm, loving, safe home with a friendly human who will keep her forever. Because she is frightened at Catmandu, Honey hopes her new person comes very soon.
If you think you might be the perfect home for Honey, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website at CatmanduCC.org/adoptions and plan to visit this weekend at Catmandu, 1829 Brown Street. Potential adopters are welcome Friday through Sunday from 11am to 4 pm. Plan to arrive no later than 3 pm so you have plenty of time to spend with him before adoptions close.
