Empty Bowls Carson City Glazing Day! Free family fun at Carson City Pottery
Local artists, young and old are donating handmade bowls for a fund raising event that will be held during the Capital Tree Lighting ceremony on December 5th, 2013.
Restaurants are providing the soup and bread that will fill our Empty Bowls. For a minimum donation of $12, you may select one of the bowls and enjoy a warm winter meal to launch the holiday season. The artisan bowl is yours to keep as a reminder that there are empty bowls in our community. There will also be an art auction at the event!
All proceeds from this event will be donated to FISH (Friends In Service Helping). FISH provides Food, Independence, Shelter, Healthcare and other services to the hungry and needy in our community. Visit FISH at www.nvfish.com.
