Volunteers sought for post Nevada Day Trash Mob cleanup of Carson City
Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space will host its first ever volunteer post Nevada Day Clean-Up on Oct. 28, 2018 from 8 to 10 a.m. The department will provide all of the trash bags and gloves necessary for the clean up.
In addition, extra water will be on hand. Participants should wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothes you are not afraid to get dirty in. This volunteer event is helping out the Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space in addition to their regular clean-up of downtown following Nevada Day.
Volunteer waivers for this event will be emailed to those signed-up through the link provide here prior to the event. If possible, please print the waivers out and bring them. If not, there will be additional waivers available the day of the clean-up.
This volunteer opportunity is being orchestrated by the Carson City Parks, Recreation & Open Space Volunteer Coordinator. Please go to our website www.carson.org/nevadaday to sign-up and to learn more about the clean-up.
If you have any further questions, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Chelsea Kincheloe at ckincheloe@carson.org or call 775.283.7711. Thank you for your interest.
