United Way of Northern Nevada and Sierra names Blake Pang as CEO and President
The United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra Board of Directors is excited to announce the selection and hiring of Blake Pang as CEO and President. Pang joins the team from Western Oregon, where he served as CEO and President at United Way of Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties.
Pang has served within the United Way network for 19 years, including leadership positions in Hawaii, Ohio, and Washington. Most recently, he served as Board Chair of the United Ways of the Pacific Northwest and as Co-Chair of the United Way Western Regional Conference.
“We look forward to welcoming Blake to our UWNNS team,” said Jesse Murray, UWNNS Board Chair. “Blake will be an incredible addition as we continue to support our youngest learners and our communities across northern Nevada.”
As the leader of UWNNS, Pangs’s primary responsibility will be to deliver on the organization’s vision to create opportunities for children, families, and individuals to realize their full potential.
"I'm incredibly excited to join such a dedicated Board and energetic staff!” commented Pang. “I feel that we have a unique opportunity to expand upon the incredible things UWNNS has done these last few years and convene a wide array of partners around solving some of our region's deepest problems together.”
Pang enjoys traveling with his wife and daughter, as well as playing with their two rescue dogs and cat.
