AM Smith Electric supports Arrowhead 4-H Livestock Club
We would like to thank AM Smith Electric and Melissa Caron for purchasing Julia Ruedy's Reserve Grand Champion Steer at the Silver State Livestock Show held at the Lyon County Fair.
Julia has been a member of Arrowhead 4-H Livestock Club for the last six years. She has raised and cared for many animals during her time with the club. The generous support of local business and her grandparents, Julian and Joanna Smith, has allowed her to flourish. Julia recently graduated Carson High School and is now attending the University of Wyoming in Laramie.
4-H is a community of young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.4-H began a century ago as an educational program for the nation's rural youth. Today, 4-H meets the needs of and engages young people in positive youth development experiences.
4-H is the youth development education program of University of Nevada Cooperative Extension. If you or your children are looking for a quality and fun youth development experience, contact Jim Barcellos or Sandy Wallin at the Carson City/Storey County office of the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, 775-887-2252.
