Capital City CIRCLES Initiative moves locations, offers expanded programming

The Capital City CIRCLES Initiative, also known as CIRCLES, is a dedicated organization committed to enhancing human well-being by providing necessary tools to empower and support those who are vulnerable, oppressed, and desiring to break free from social, emotional, and financial deficits, leading to a higher standard of living, and enjoying a life of fulfillment.

CIRCLES is pleased to announce exciting changes enabling us to better serve the Carson City community and further our Mission!

New Location:
Through a generous and unique opportunity, CIRCLES is relocating to a new office at 727 Fairview Lane, Suite D, CC NV 89701.The new office offers much more space with ample parking, plus it’s on a bus line. This move allows for greater opportunities for CIRCLES by providing greater community collaboration; office space that allows for increased staff productivity; room for more visitors, volunteers, and training classrooms; plus, space to hold special events.

Expanded Programs:
In response to the growing needs of our community, CIRCLES has expanded its programs to include two targeted training curriculums: Life Skills for Success and Workforce Enrichment training. These are in addition to the current “The Art of Emotional Resilience” phases program, with a Youth Positive program for young people coming very soon. These expanded programs allow for more populations to access the good work of CIRCLES, while bringing in more participants & mentors to the Resilience phases program.

Enhanced Partnerships:
In addition to the established collaborations CIRCLES already holds with other community-based entities, in May 2024, CIRCLES was approved by the Board of Examiners - Governor’s Finance Office to become a vendor with the State of Nevada. This allows CIRCLES to provide targeted trainings for referred clients through the different State divisions on a reimbursable basis. This is not a given $10,000,000.00 grant, but a Service Agreement which pays incrementally once direct services are rendered by CIRCLES. The large-figure ceiling was set by the State to ensure that CIRCLES need not re-apply within the 3-year timeline. But we still need your help! Continued contributions of support to CIRCLES ensures “The Art of Emotional Resilience” phases program continues to be offered at no cost to our participants.

Upcoming Events:
Mark your calendars! CIRCLES holds its annual fundraiser on Thursday October 17th. This year’s event is a Mardi Gras-theme Bourbon St. & Brews Bash. Please help us to achieve and exceed our goal! A private donor has offered to match up to $30,000.00 of the monies raised during this event! More to follow in the next few months! Stay tuned!

Thank You!
We at CIRCLES wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters, volunteers, mentors, allies, collaborators, and partners. Your generous donations make our work possible. Together, we are making the difference! We look forward to your support. See you at the Bourbon St. & Brews Bash October 17th!
