Carson City Classic Cinema hosts Silent Movie Day with Harold Lloyd
Silent Movie Day is an annual celebration of silent film that takes place on and around Sept. 29 each year. What started as a grass-roots movement in Los Angeles has grown to fans around the globe.
This year, C5 Classic Cinema is screening Harold Lloyd's iconic film, "Safety Last!"
Take this rare opportunity to witness Lloyd's comic genius blended with astonishing athleticism and stunt work, in a theater. Brandon and Aron are returning to accompany the film with live, original music and foley sound effects.
Come dressed as your favorite silent film star for free popcorn. Silent Movie Day will be shown Sept. 29, at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 King Street, Carson City.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Snacks, beverages and charcuterie boxes will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
