Nationally recognized 2nd Amendment Advocate Jan Morgan to hold training for gun owners

Jan Morgan is a Nationally Recognized 2nd Amendment Advocate/Speaker, NRA Certified Firearms Instructor, NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, State Certified Concealed Carry Instructor, founder of Armed American Woman, (a national firearms training program for women). Her Armed American Woman Firearms training program has a 100 percent accident free gun safety record and proven record of success with students across the country.

Jan works with The National Rifle Association, The Second Amendment Foundation, the National Association of Gun Rights, and Gun Owners of America to lobby against gun control efforts nationally. During her 27 years as a television anchor and reporter, Jan’s work won Associated Press awards in spot news, documentary, and best continuing coverage. Now as a citizen activist for the Conservative Movement and Owner/Editor of JanMorganMedia.com, she’s been a contributor on The Daily Caller, Patriot Update, and was selected as the Voice of the Conservative Vote by the Texas GOP.

This class is about training gun owners (male and female) to become tactically confident, not only in their gun handling skills but also in their ability to prepare mentally for possible situations in and outside the home that might involve use of a firearm for self defense.

Class size limited to 50. Pre-registration of $50.00 deposit is required with the remaining balance due on class day. Checks and credit cards accepted Call (870) 648-2777 to register. Classroom instruction will be held at Glen Eagles Restaurant 9-2pm for $50. It is $100 for the full NRA Basic Pistol Certification and will use the Carson City Gun Range 2-5pm.

The class will cover:
1) Decision making/mental prep for gun ownership, concealed and or open carry. Establishing personal boundaries and situational awareness, Carry options
2) gun safety/ guns in the home
3) gun handling disciplines: handgun grip for ultimate recoil control, stance, sight alignment, breathing techniques for bulls-eye shooting and target versus defensive shooting positions.
4) Range Time: Qualification shooting for NRA Basic Pistol Certification
Target and Defensive Shooting techniques including control during rapid fire.
