Carson City Adele's Chef Charlie Abowd launches book, 'Recipes and Rambles'
Come join us at the release celebration of Recipes and Rambles that made Adele's a Nevada hot spot: 40 years of history as told by Chef Charlie Abowd, Saturday, March 25 from 2 to 4 p.m., at Nashvillle Social Club.
The gathering takes place in The Swan Room, and doors will open at 1:30.
The event will feature a brief interview with Charlie, followed by a Q & A. Complimentary 'bites' featuring recipes from the book and created from a collaboration between Nashville's Chef Tony Schaeffer and Charlie, will be served. Beer and wine will be available at a no-host bar.
Charlie will also be signing copies of this long-awaited project. All proceeds after publishing expenses are covered will go to support The Greenhouse Project's Sustainability Endowment, to ensure the organization's ongoing mission of "Growing, giving, and teaching for a healthier, greener, sustainable community."
