Carson City Supervisor Schuette invites you to join her for Coffee with Lisa the second Wednesday of each month. All are invited to discuss topics of interest and share ideas. The next Coffee with Lisa will be on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 7 - 8:30 am at The Cracker Box, 402 E. William St.

The Carson Valley Arts Council is pleased to present an evening with the T Sisters. The T Sisters will perform at the CVIC Hall, 1602 Esmeralda in Minden, at 7 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024. This is the first concert in our 2024-2025 Concert Series.

Plans are underway for “The Magic Continues: An Evening of Magic & Comedy” the 2nd annual gala fundraiser supporting the Douglas County Public Library.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless, a nonprofit dedicated to providing care for pets of the homeless, is excited to announce its upcoming Pet Wellness Clinic on October 19,2024 in Carson City. Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3, the Sand Harbor and Cave Rock boat ramps will shift to winter operating hours. The new schedule will see both boat ramps open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sand Harbor's boat ramp will now be open seven days a week.

The Adam Whitt Foundation is excited to announce that sign-ups are now open for its highly anticipated annual fundraiser, The Golf Tournament, set to take place at the Wolf Run Golf Club in Reno on September 28, 2024.

Throughout the fall and winter, the Silver City Schoolhouse will be hosting the Roots Music Masters concert series in Silver City.

Every month, the Park Rangers offer various ranger-led programs that include educational opportunities, historical fun and exciting adventures. All programs are offered for free and take place in one of the many Carson City parks and open space areas.

The Carson City Republican Party will hold a Jailhouse Summer Break-Out on Saturday, Sept. 21 from noon to 4 p.m. at the historic Nevada State Prison.

Get ready for an action-packed weekend as the 4th annual Douglas County Rodeo returns Sept. 6-7 at the fairgrounds in Gardnerville, bringing with it all the excitement of the Wild West while supporting a great cause. This year’s rodeo will benefit two non-profit organizations.

Night Off the Streets invites the community to its 2nd annual Summer Party on Saturday, Sept. 7, on the lawn of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. The summer party will raise funds to support NOTS’ warming center operations during the upcoming winter.
