Be this year’s MVD — Most Valuable Driver — by being the designated driver on Super Bowl Sunday. The Carson City Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with Joining Forces and the Office of Traffic Safety have provided a limited number of water and cola Koozies to be given to those who choose to be designated drivers during the game.

They are designed in the shape of a football jersey and have been stamped with the MVD and Zero Fatalities Logo.

UPDATE: Carson City emergency personnel on scene report the 14-year-old girl received minor abrasions to her elbows and will not require hospitalization.
