Teen struck by vehicle on Highway 50 East near Carson City casino
UPDATE: Carson City emergency personnel on scene report the 14-year-old girl received minor abrasions to her elbows and will not require hospitalization. One vehicle was involved in the accident that happened in the crosswalk, according to Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Scott McDaniel. The driver was cited.

Carson City fire and ambulance are responding tonight after a teenage girl was stuck by a vehicle in the area of Highway 50 East near a casino, according to Carson City dispatch. It is unknown at this time how many vehicles are involved. Initial reports into dispatch was that it was a pedestrian accident involving a vehicle.
The accident was reported shortly before 7 p.m., in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East. The teen girl was moving around, but arriving Carson City firefighters had asked to check on the availability of a Care Flight helicopter, according to dispatch.
