Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded Sunday afternoon to a structure fire in the 1500 block of Rand Avenue. Firefighters knocked it down within minutes of arriving.

On Saturday, Jan. 15 2022, missing person Christy Pasillas was located and unharmed, according to Carson City Sheriff's Office detectives. The Carson City Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for information that assisted in locating Christy.
