A 23-year-old man was arrested Monday for suspicion of gross misdemeanor destruction of property and misdemeanor harassment following an incident at Carson Tahoe Hospital, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.

Carson City’s Friends In Service Helping, also known as FISH, had a busy year providing meals, housing services, showers, laundry and more to the community in 2022.

YERINGTON — On Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, the Lyon County Board of County Commissioners approved a resolution to propose the exchange of real property owned by Lyon County located at 158 Garnet Circle, Mound House, for real property owned by Central Lyon County Fire Protection District located at 56 Red Rock Road, Mound House, for the purpose of establishing a Mound House Community Center in the future.
