The Lyon County Sheriff's Office issued a "shelter in place" warning Wednesday afternoon for a Fernley subdivision due to a standoff with LCSO after reports of a man shooting a firearm and yelling at people.

Nevada State Police has identified the victim driver in a fatal crash that happened Saturday at the intersection of US-50 and College Parkway in Carson City. The driver suspected of causing the crash was booked for suspicion of felony DUI causing death.

A 37-year-old woman in custody through the Nevada Department of Corrections, was transported to Carson City Jail for a felony warrant court case.
