Soroptimist International of Carson City has its Fall Fun Bunco fundraiser scheduled for October 10th. The event will include a baked potato bar with all the fixings, salad and a no host bar starting at 5:30pm. The event will be held at the Elks Club, 515 N Nevada Street in Carson City. Miller Counseling is partnering with Douglas Center for Hope and Healing to offer grief support groups to Carson City and the surrounding rural communities Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m.

The Miller Counseling and Wellness Center is located at 104 W. Telegraph St. in Carson City.

The Center for Hope and Healing has been providing grief support to Douglas County for the last 10 years. The goal of building this partnership is to make the free support groups available and easier to access to more members of the Northern Nevada community.
