The Center for Hope and Healing has been providing grief support to Douglas County for the last 10 years. The goal of building this partnership is to make the free support groups available and easier to access to more members of the Northern Nevada community.

After two years of teaching with the government’s Bureau of Indian Affairs in a small Inuit village in Chevak, Alaska, which is 500 miles from the nearest road, Nancy Scott and her family boarded a plane to continue their Alaskan adventure.
