Sierra Nevada Realtors set to host 9th annual Carson City 'Cornhole for a Cause' tourney
Sierra Nevada Realtors will host its 9th annual Cornhole for a Cause charity event on Friday, August 16, in Carson City.
Check-in starts at 4 p.m. at the event’s location at 300 S. Curry Street with the tournament starting at 5 p.m. Proceeds from the event benefit Barbara and JP Pinocchio's Moms on the Run, which raises money for local women battling breast cancer by holding an annual walk and run.
Sponsorships and team sign-ups are currently available, with net proceeds from the event going to support Pinochicco’s Moms on the Run. The event is open to SNR members and the public.
“Our annual charity event turns the classic game of cornhole into an exciting and impactful day for our community,” said April LaBrie, CEO of Sierra Nevada Realtors.
“Celebrating its 9th year, it’s truly amazing to see so many people show up to support a great cause, coming together to play and make a difference. We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiastic participation of everyone who joins us in this special event.”
Participants will be able to compete to win cornhole boards, raffle prizes, and cash prizes. The team registration fee is $100 for two player teams, with two food and two drink tickets included per team.
