While we in Carson City are awaiting the beginning of our farmers market season, which this year will take place June through September at Mills Park, the farmers markets in Minden and Gardnerville have already begun.

The Minden Farmers Market takes place in downtown Minden every Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. along Esmerelda Ave., which is closed for the event.

Join Muscle Powered and Carson City Parks, Recreation & Open Space for National Trails Day on June 3rd 2023. We will work on brushing the Waterfall Trail and North Kings Loop and fixing sections of trail that have been damaged by this past winter.

Brushing and trail repair use tools such as loppers, McLeods, hand saws and rakes to remove encroaching brush and to work trail surfaces.

Rob's paintings largely follow religious and spiritual themes and daily life from Southeast Asia and incorporate traditional styles from that region. Ken's paintings include many Nevada and desert landscapes as well animals and pets.
