On Saturday, July 13 Lyon County Sheriff’s Office deputies were informed by an anonymous citizen about a residence in Dayton where the living conditions were extremely poor, along with additional concerns of possible child endangerment/neglect, animal neglect and drug use.

More than 1,990 NV Energy customers in Carson City affected in power outage

UPDATE: The Saturday night concert at the Brewery Arts Center is underway after power was restored in the area. As of 7:30 p.m. much of the power has been restored with 44 customers not having power.

There are at least 7 power outages in Carson City with more than 1,900 NV Energy customers without power Saturday evening, according to the utility.
