Carson City inmate faces additional offenses after assaulting fellow inmate during breakfast
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 08/16/2019 - 9:15amAn inmate at the Carson City Jail was booked on additional offenses after allegedly slamming his food tray into another inmate’s face multiple times during breakfast.
According to the report, Thomas Raymond Brown, 32, was booked on the additional offenses after deputies were collecting trays during morning meal times in Male General when they heard a verbal argument in the Trusty POD.

“It’s a safety issue,” said Dan Davis of the Carson City School District. “While they’re on campus, if the principal or a teacher needs to audibly communicate with a student, they need to be able to hear them for safety reasons.”
