Silver State Model T Ford Club to Hold Meeting
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Sat, 08/17/2019 - 7:16amThe Silver State Model T Ford Club will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20 at Red’s Old 395 Grill, 10455 S. Carson Street in Carson City.
Optional no-host dinner precedes the meeting at 6:00 p.m. Anyone interested in Model T Ford cars or trucks is welcome to attend.
This club is organized to have fun, go on tours and help each other with our Model Ts. Spouses are also welcome.

Carson City Library Exhibit Displays Gourd Art

The local group is known as the Great Basin Gourd Patch meet monthly in the Johnson Lane area to share and learn techniques used on gourds. The exhibit in the library will be on display until the end of August. You don’t want to miss all this art!

Lockes Celebrate 50 years

Peggy also serves as Staff Chaplain for Carson Tahoe Health in Carson City. The Lockes took a ‘land and sea’ cruise of Alaska in July and continue to celebrate their special event by camping and being together with their family. Louis and Peggy have 4 sons, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
