Wildcats notebook: Everything has changed since March 20
It's been a long road back, but the Western Nevada College baseball team has now gained an inside track to the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season championship with three weeks to go.
WNC (34-9, 22-6 SWAC) holds a one-game lead after sweeping a weekend series from College of Southern Nevada (34-10, 21-7) at John L. Harvey Field -- winning those four games by a combined margin of five runs. Coming into the weekend, CSN was ranked No. 2 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Poll and WNC was ranked No. 11.
