CCAI Pocket Ziggurat Exhibition

The exhibit will be in the gallery from October 7, 2016 - January 19, 2017. The Courthouse is located at 885 E Musser Street, Carson City. The exhibition is free and the public is cordially invited. The gallery is open to the public Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
Nevada Northern Railway Running Popular Polar Express Train Rides

Hot chocolate and cookies are served while listening to the Polar Express story and music from the Polar Express soundtrack.
This entertaining holiday experience has been voted as the “Best Special Event in Rural Nevada” by readers of Nevada Magazine three years in a row.

I would be hard pressed to choose between the Nevada Day Parade and the annual Taste of Downtown. Luckily, I can adore them both, and for much the same reason. They are a celebration of community, of Carson City, of our historic downtown and all that it has to offer. In addition to 'The Taste', the Brewery Arts Center goes country with the Southern Drawl Band on its outdoor stage, and Madam Curry leads another downtown Ghost Walk. 'Trains in the Movies' with speaker Jim Clark featured July 9 at Dangberg Historic Park

Jim Clark is a veteran of more than 250 films, an engineer and a train coordinator. Known as "The Train Man," Clark will give a short history of trains in the movies and explain the technical aspects of working with trains.
