Planes, trains, and bicycles are the theme of this Fathers’ Day weekend. Epic Rides has taken over downtown with booths, bikes, beer, music, and more. The Carson City Airport is hosting their annual Fly-in and Open house, complete with hot air balloon rides. World War II aviation buffs won’t want to miss the Wings of Freedom tour at the Minden Airport. Steampunk meets Steam trains at the Nevada Railroad Museum. The Nevada Outdoor Experience Youth/Family Expo will be Saturday, June 18. This free family event is designed to excite and inspire the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts. We have something for everyone.

Everything is FREE. Events include: rock climbing wall, metal detecting, archery, gold panning, BB gun ranges, laser shot, trap and skeet, and many, many more hands-on events led by specialists in their field. Over 20 organizations are volunteering to put on this event. Free raffles for the kids, starting around noon.
