We’re bringing back the Home & Garden Show in the Pavilion.
The event is held at Mills Park in Carson City located at 1111 E William Street from June 4 through 7, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

On Friday, Muscle Powered will host a morning walk at the Carson City Multi-Use Path at 8 a.m. And there's coin press demonstrations at the Nevada State Museum.
Carson High School's 'Safe Grad' seeking volunteers

Safe Grad is a parent and community sponsored all-night party that begins the evening after graduation at the Carson City Community Center, and this year they are looking for volunteers to help fulfill their mission.

The Carson City Fair at Fuji Park offers a plethora of entertainment for all ages including tractor pulls, a carnival, and farm animals. Under the shade of the Mills Park cottonwoods, you’ll have all day to peruse the varied vehicles in the annual Run Whatcha Brung Car Show. The sun will come out tomorrow, but it’s the stars that are coming out tonight for the free Levitt Amp Concert at the Brewery Arts Center.

Car lovers are in for a treat: you can head down to the Carson Mall for their monthly cruise night, or roll into the Max Casino to get registered for the 33rd annual Run Whatcha Brung Car Show. The Trippin King Snakes take the stage in McFadden Plaza for a free all-ages show. Break a leg to the kids of Youth Theater Carson City; they open their production of ‘Bye, Bye, Birdie’ at the Community Center this evening.

The Carson City Fair has returned and it’s bringing all the excitement that one can expect from a down-home event. The talented kids in our regional 4-H programs will be showing off their hard work, carnival rides will be whirling, and the music will be playing. Our local bus, the JAC, is lending a hand and offering free rides through Sunday: Route 3 will take you from downtown to Fuji Park. Food truck lovers won’t want to miss out on Wheeled Wednesday at the Brewery Arts Center.

St. Teresa of Avila's annual Fall Fest a Carson City tradition

Though the skies had smoke and even a few rain drops, the spirit was alive with plenty of food, games, booths, crafts and music entertainment.

Charter brings C-SPAN bus to Carson City, Reno Thursday
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Wed, 04/03/2013 - 7:37amC-SPAN and Charter have partnered to bring the 2013 C-SPAN Bus to Carson City and Reno on Thursday, April 4. During the stops, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about C-SPAN’s public affairs programming and resources.
The interactive bus will be at the Nevada State Legislative Building, 9:30-11 a.m. at the corner of 4th Street and South Carson Street in Carson City.
