Carson Mall Bingo to benefit Jimenez Brothers

On Sunday, July 14 the Jimenez brothers were involved in a head-on collision with other friends. This occurred during a return trip from Las Vegas. Alberto Jimenez surfed a broken femur along with a serious facial laceration. His brother Alejandro Jimenez will need physical therapy to strengthen his body after the crash.

Coming up on Thursday, August 22, 2019, we can expect continued sunny skies with a daytime near 90. Among upcoming events: Thursday is the final day of the Jukebox International Film Festival at the Carson City Community Center. Take in a film screening and talk to the filmmakers who made them. The children’s section of the Carson City Library is made to be inviting. Brightly colored rugs and furniture are set against the backdrop of a playful mural of the Kennedy’s Children’s corner. But there’s one problem: The shelving.

Second Wind Thrift Store Celebrates Grand Re-Opening
