Governor Kate Marshall, the second of a six-week standup comedy class, art showings, West Coast swing dancing and more.

The Nevada State Railroad Museum Carson City is packing a whole lot of family fun into its annual Harvest Train festivities this year.

Celebrating nearly three decades of turning the round, orange members of the squash family into memorable Halloween carving traditions, Seeliger Elementary School in Carson City will host its 27th annual Pumpkin Patch this Saturday, Oct. 12.

Heading into the final week of August and the Labor Day weekend around the corner, Monday, August 26 looks to be another especially hot day across the capital city and western Nevada with highs in the mid-90s. CARSON CITY — Lone Mountain Veterinary Hospital is hosting a family fun day on Sunday, July 21 to celebrate American Animal Hospital Association Accredited Hospital Day.

AAHA-Accredited Hospital Day is a day to celebrate champions for excellent care. The event takes place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lone Mountain Veterinary Hospital, 780 College Parkway in Carson City.

Planning for the 2019 Carson City Fair is coming together. The youth livestock show and auction are promising to have a record turn out. We are proud to present many new competitions and events this year, such as the American Ninja Farmer, food eating compositions and the first inaugural Demolition Derby.

Wheeled Food Wednesday is back! The BAC will be hosting food trucks every Wednesday this summer, starting June 19th and going until September 19th! The trucks will start serving at 5:30pm and go until 8:00pm. There will be a wide variety of food trucks, so everyone will be able to find something they love. There will be kid’s activities—including a bounce house—and performances from different musicians throughout the year.
