In 1961, Dayton and the Odeon became a hot spot of activity when the cast and crew of The Misfits came to town.

Dayton Chamber awarded $14,150 for rural map project

Poker run, lacrosse, duck fundraiser and more highlight weekend activities around Carson City area

The American Cancer Society is hosting a poker run Saturday at Mills Park, and a free lacrosse clinic for kids ages 6-12 will be held at John L. Harvey Field. The Nevada Humane Society is virtually hosting its annual “Adopt a Duck” fundraiser for interested participants. Combined with train rides and live music, there’s plenty of excitement going on over the weekend! Read on for more information.
Dayton Chamber extends deadline for city business map, introduces map creator

The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center is working with Charter Advertising/Design, Inc. in producing a newly designed city map that features business locations in Dayton and Mound House. Chamber members, who purchase ads, will have their locations "pinned" for extra notice!
Dayton Chamber Awarded Rural Tourism & Marketing Grant
