Tommy has a long list of celebs he's helped including Gary Busey, Nick Nolte, and Lindsay Lohan. After disseminating his message in comedy clubs, he became the back-to-back winner of the Boston and Seattle comedy competitions, appeared on the Bob and Tom Show, National Lampoon's Man Up Stand Up, and in commercials for Adidas, Monster.com and Lowe's.
Dayton Farmers Market is open for the season

Ryan Wingfield is coming back to the Carson Comedy Club

With over a decade on stage his career has taken him to over 30 states, a dozen countries, and three continents. Performing in every venue from the small town bar or comedy clubs, to Large Vegas Casinos, and even overseas entertaining US troops. You may recognize him from XM radio, Doug Benson's mocumentary "Super High Me", or NBC's "Last Comic Standing."

Carson City Off-Road sponsored by Epic Rides has taken over downtown with everything mountain bike and plays host to a free Music Festival in McFadden Plaza. Don’t miss Arts and Culture Day at the Nevada State Railroad Museum with unlimited rides on the Steam Train, special vendors, and more. Stewart Indian School will be a hotspot of activity with the annual Fathers’ Day PowWow underway. This is just the tip of the iceberg, read on for more fun than you’ll know what to do with.

Now, when I say bicycle invasion, I’m not exaggerating. The Carson City Off-Road hosted by Epic Rides brings mountain bike enthusiasts from all over to compete in our hills. You’ll find downtown road-closures to make way for the race routes, a bike expo, beer garden, and a music festival on Saturday. Head up to Western Nevada College to welcome the Journey of Hope Bike Tour.
Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada awarded grants to fund annual reading programs

Kelsey Foundation, will fund the Club’s annual reading program and Summer Brain Gain program.

No. 1 Coyotes to take on East Bay Tecos Fire this week

The annual Westside Cruise ia a part of Bike Month, and one of the zanier events. Dress you and your bike up and head off to explore the historic district. Happy one year Anniversary to Battle Born Social. The restaurant and lounge will be celebrating with cocktails, appetizers and more; there is a $20 cover for the event, but that money will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada and Carson City Senior Center's Meals on Wheels program.

Antonio and Alexis Trujillo’s family, and Jordan and Theodore Leyva’s family are now displaced following this incident.

For the 2017-2018 school year, a staff of 47 was dedicated to making a memorable book for others to keep throughout their lives and be passed down through generations; and again the book received the Gallery of Excellence Award, in which the book is used as an example of a successful yearbook in schools and at conferences across the country.

The CHS Chamber Orchestra, directed by Dr. Brian Fox, is back from its spring trip to the Bay Area. The Chamber Orchestra competed in the Forum Music Festival at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, earning a gold rating from the adjudicators; the top rating.
