Washoe Lake State Park celebrates the holidays with 'Trail of Lights: A Drive-through Holiday Celebration'
NEW WASHOE CITY — Enjoy some holiday cheer at Washoe Lake State Park with a sparkling drive-through festival of lights. Campground Loop B will be decorated with a jolly display of twinkling lights and holiday scenes. Stay warm and merry as you listen to your favorite holiday music while driving through the campground, enjoying the cheerful decorations.
Participants are asked to remain in their vehicles at all times to ensure a safe and healthy, physically distanced event.
WHAT: Washoe Lake’s Trail of Lights: A Drive-through Holiday Celebration
WHEN: Thursday, Dec. 17 through Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
WHERE: Washoe Lake State Park Campground Loop B. Take Exit 10 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. approximately four miles. The park entrance will be on the left. Turn right past the fee booth and follow the signs to the campground.
WHO: This event is open to the public and is hosted by Washoe Lake State Park.
COST: The park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle. There is no additional charge for this program. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks.
