Early voting results shows unprecedented voter turnout in Carson City and statewide

Happy Election Day, Carson City! Here are your totals for Early Voting as we head into the last leg of these political races.
So far, an unprecedented 62.23 percent of active registered voters in Nevada have already taken to the polls, according to the Nevada Secretary of State's office.
In Carson City, 24,086 total ballots have been cast, which is 64.26 percent of active registered voters.
Of those ballot, 13,278 were returned by mail, which was 55.13 percent of the total turnout.

Republican mail-in: 4,585
Other party mail-in: 3,099
In person, 10,808 voters have come to cast their ballots at the Carson City Community Center.

In Douglas county, 28,545 voters have cast their ballots, which is 73.35 percent of active registered voters.
Voters have returned 18,102 ballots by mail, which is 63.42 percent of the total turnout.

In-person, 10,443 voters have come to cast their ballots in Douglas County.

Statewide, 1,133,673 votes have been cast which is 62.23 percent of total active voters. Of those, 590,256 have been mailed in versus 543,417 which were cast in person.
