NHP: Three injured, two flown by air ambulance following crash on Highway 50 East of Dayton
A crash on Highway 50 at Enterprise four miles east of Dayton at around noon Tuesday has sent two people to the hospital via air ambulance with serious injuries and one person to the hospital by ground ambulance, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around noon and involved two vehicles, said NHP Trooper Duncan Dauber. An adult and a juvenile were taken by Care Flight with serious injuries. An adult was taken by ground ambulance to the hospital. One person had to be extricated, said Dauber.
Westbound Highway 50 was closed at 12:13 p.m. The crash is under investigation. Motorists should avoid the area.
