Carson City Chamber Singers begin rehearsals Tuesday
The Carson Chamber Singers, a performing group of the Carson City Symphony Association, will begin rehearsals on Tuesday, September 17, for their 35th season. Rehearsals are Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. under the direction of William Belcher at the Choral Room in Carson High School, 1111 N. Saliman Road in Carson City.
Belcher, beginning his first season directing the Singers, said "We invite the residents of Carson City and the surrounding areas to join us as vocal ambassadors for the Nevada state capital. We welcome all ages, from all walks of life, to share our joy of music. Those who wish to participate need only have basic vocal skills, accept musical direction, and sing well with others."
Carson Chamber Singers is open to singers high-school age and above. Participation is free. For more information, contact the Symphony Association at 775-883-4154.
