Power outage affects hundreds of NV Energy customers in East Carson City
UPDATE 6:10PM: NV Energy reports power has been restored to the areas affected by Friday's outages in Carson City.

UPDATE 5:30PM: Power has been restored to customers in both affected areas of N. Lompa Lane near the Highway 50 East corridor, according to NV Energy.
However, another power outage was reported at 5:14 p.m. around an apartment complex off Airport Road near Woodside Drive. The outage was also due to equipment failure, NV Energy reported.
NV Energy reports less than five customers are currently without power in that area. Power restoration there is estimated to be restored by 7 p.m., the power company reports.

UPDATE 4:27PM: NV Energy now reports 292 customers without power in the N. Lompa Lane area nearest the Highway 50 East corridor. Restoration of power for this vicinity is estimated by 5:15 p.m.
An additional 68 NV Energy customers in the apartment neighborhood at the extreme end of N. Lompa Lane (south of Highway 50) are without power after an outage was reported there at 3:57 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Power in this section is expected to be out until 6:45 p.m., NV Energy reports.
Crews are still on scene at both locations working to restore electricity to the affected areas.

Nearly 400 customers along the Highway 50 East corridor near N. Lompa Lane are still without power from an outage that occcurred early Friday morning.
The power outage, caused by equipment failure, was reported shortly before 1:30 a.m. Friday, NV Energy reported.
Electrical crews are continuing to work in the area to restore power to 381 customers.
