Minimum security offender re-captured after walking away from Stewart prison camp in Carson City
UPDATE 2:25PM: Nevada Department of Corrections reports the offender who walked away from the Stewart Conservation Camp prison facility in Carson City was recaptured by the Churchill County Sheriff's Office.

The Nevada Department of Corrections reports that on Tuesday morning, a minimum security offender walked away from the Stewart Conservation Camp located in Carson City, Nev.
Offender Alfonso Pinuelas-Duran, 29, inmate No. 1230440, was discovered missing during an institutional count at SCC just before 6 a.m. The facility is located at 1721 Snyder Ave., in south Carson City.
He arrived at the NDOC from Washoe County on March 3, 2020 and was transferred to SCC where he was serving 72-180 Months for having 3 DUIs.
Pinuelas-Duran is 5 feet 11 inches tall, 165 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He is Hispanic, and has scars on his left hand, thumb, and forearm.
A retake warrant has been issued. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Pinuelas-Duran should immediately contact 911.
