Limited tickets available for famed conservationist Jane Goodall lecture at Lake Tahoe
Those wanting to see world renowned primatologist and anthropologist Dr. Jane Goodall speak at Lake Tahoe's Sierra Nevada College this Thursday have an opportunity as a limited amount of public tickets will be made available online.
Tickets are first come, first serve for Sierra Nevada College students, faculty and staff, but a limited number of public tickets will be available Wednesday at 3 p.m.
Dr. Jane Goodall rose to international fame with her work living with and studying the chimpanzees of what is now Tanzania, giving humankind a window into our closest living relatives for the first time.
For more than 60 years, Dr. Goodall has been an activist for conservation of not only chimpanzees, but many species of both primates and animals.
While she no longer lives in the forests of Africa, Dr. Goodall is still working toward conservation efforts, traveling the world and hosting lectures about environmental crises such as deforestation and habitat loss.
An active link to register for public tickets can be found here on Wednesday after 3 p.m.
Sierra Nevada College is Nevada’s only accredited, private, four-year institution located in Incline Village in Lake Tahoe. Their address is 999 Tahoe Boulevard.
