The Art of Living through the End of Life presentation
Knowing how to comfort and support a loved one who has a terminal illness can be challenging. How can you help your loved one cope? How will you deal with your own grief?
A seminar for terminally ill individuals and their loved ones will be on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 3-4 p.m., at Sierra Nevada Cancer Center, 1460 S. Curry Street in Carson City.
Monica Gonzalez, a family bereavement program coordinator and camp director for Solace Tree, will give this free presentation on coping with terminal illness dignosis. The presentation will cover the stages of grief, offer tools for coping, and provide participants with activities to do together at home.
